Ask Facebook to add "Widow/er" to relationship options
I'm posting as a recent - four months ago - widow to ask anyone that is on Facebook to join the group I recently started to try and get the administrators to add widow as an option for the profile relationship status field. Currently there isn't one, or divorced either, but amazingly Facebook has recently added "In An Open Relationship" as an option. Sorry, but I find it odd that the swinger demographic somehow outweighs widows or divorcees.

The group's address is http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=91921564198 and I hope to get as many people, even those who haven't suffered a loss, to join so that maybe Facebook will pay attention.

Also, for anyone who is interested, I've been blogging about my own loss and the feelings of grief I've been experiencing since that horrible day and welcome hearing from anyone who's also suffering a loss or just feels like saying hello. It has been primarily through the support of family and friends - old and new alike - that has sustained me through these days, weeks, and months: http://fryguysthinkings.blogspot.com

Thanks
Andrew
