Well, pretty much everything sucks
Both of my parents are failing fast - mom from liver failure and dad from, well, just throw a dart at a list of medical issues and you name it.

I lost our baby at nine weeks on New Year's Day. I hemorrhaged so badly I had to go to the hospital. At least my cancer is in remission. So I guess that's a good thing.

Hope you guys had a good holiday. This was the Worst. New. Year's. Ever. for our family.

1. I'm sorry, seems like no where near enough ...
You've sure had a rough go of it and it doesn't sound like it's going to be any better any time soon. My sincerest sympathy to you on the loss of your expected baby. I miscarried around the same time many many years ago. It's devastating isn't it?

I hope your parents have good help at home or are in assisted living homes that look after them. It's awful watching your parent fail and you've got it twofold. I wish there was something I could say or do for you. I know there isn't. But please do come here when you need some comfort or a place to vent or rejoice in the good memories that surface as you go through this. My heart and good thoughts are with you and your family tonight and for however long you need them. May the rest of '09 prove to be better for you and your family and may your parents pass peacefully when their time comes knowing the love of their daughter deep in their hearts.
