Obtaining drugs from Canada
:hi:
I need some help please.

My insurance no longer pays for one of my medications and the patient assistance program will not help me either.

Does anyone know what the procedure is to get my prescription filled in Canada?

It is very costly here and an online search revealed that I can get a 90-day supply of the medication I need for >$60.00.

If you know of any specific resources/sites, please let me know.

Thanks so much. :)

1. info
Here's where I ordered from when I was on the HP.United Healthcare(sic) coverage(sic) that didn't cover a prescription. Now AARP MedicareRx covers it for me, thankfully:

http://www.onlinecanadianpharmacy.com/ (Granville Pharmacy, a legitimate pharmacy)

They do require a US doctor's prescription, but you can fax it to them, or mail it.

US manufacturers started not selling them some meds because of their filling US prescriptions, so they may not be able to get whatever it is you need, or they may offer you a UK or Israeli etc version.

2. Thanks.
I will be keeping this in mind. My insurance coverage ends in June, and I will not be Medicare eligible for two and a half more years. We are looking for something, but I could be in for scary times.
