C-PAP machines - any comments good or bad on nasal masks

vs. full face masks vs nasal pillows? I finally got a well fitting nasal mask and was stunned at how quiet it is. The problem now is skin irritation including ranging from redness across the bridge of my nose to really rosy cheeks.

What unit did you get?

I had a cpap before but I hated it but recently I had a med procedure and the dr said my apnea was severe and scared my parents to death so they are making me get a new one. I'm not happy about it but if it will make them sleep knowing I'm not going to die in mine it is worth it.

I'm worried about compliance though cuz I hated my last one.
