LOL! Weekly horoscope by Rob Brezsny.
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 03:01 PM by crispini
OK, I love this horoscope, and I was over there checking mine and I just "happened" to read KO's for the week and it totally made me LOL... I suppose it's a rather auspicious one for a vacation.

Indeed. No wonder he isn't blogging. :7

Nice to know he's got better things to do.

Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 04:20 PM by RevCheesehead
what am I supposed to make of this?

http://www.freewillastrology.com/horoscopes/capricorn.html

especially:
"More than any other sign of the zodiac, you now have the potential to take maximum advantage of everything that's dicey, thorny, and ticklish."

Suggestions would be welcomed.

8. Hey - you better save that for tonight.
Save it for someone who has earned it.

Besides, I thought we already had a designated spanker. I insist on professional treatment.

Seito is mistress of smileys but if she breaks out her "nuclear" spanking smiley for everything that goes on over in ERD, DU will be bathed in a radioactive glow before Friday night.

In any case, I won't be at the meeting tonight. Or Friday night. x( I wasn't kidding on Monday when I said it was a good week for Keith to be on vacation.

ed: and my husband has jury duty this week, so we've been getting up early to get him downtown on time. Let me list the ways in which this week doth suck...

Sorry about the jury duty thing. Getting up early is one of the primary ways life sucks, IMO. I am a creature of the night.

18. LOL. I wasn't getting the visual of Tim Curry
rather, the audio of Susan Sarandon singing "touch-a-touch-a-touch-a-touch-me".

Cannot imagine why that would come into my head while reading one of your posts, Rev. O8)

24. God, I hope so.
I want a mug that says "she who must not be spoken to before 9 a.m." I simply do not function before then. (that's a problem on Sundays)

Oh - and I believe that "perky in the morning" people should be shot.

Free Will Astrology was one of my faves until the local free weekly stopped carrying it.

22. Swami Beyondananda is my favorite...
SLC's local weekly used to carry a column by him, but I haven't gotten one for so long I'm not sure if they do anymore. (I live about 50 miles from there now).

Here's a website about him:

25. Actually, I thought of starting one of my own.
I had three money-making schemes while I was in Div School.

1. Christian Horoscopes. Because everybody reads them - even Baptists - and if you add a Bible verse or two, they won't feel guilty about reading them.

2. Flavored Nicotine Gum. Real flavors, like cherry, orange, doublemint, and juicy-fruit. (this was in 1995 - I should have sought a patent.) A beautiful product that gets you off smoking (that's how I got my term papers done), while at the same time, forms a strong addiction that keeps the customer coming back.

3. Remember "Refresh" gum? The gum with the liquid center? I wanted to market a communion wafer with a grape-juice liquid center. No more drips, no awkward little cups, no crumbs, no mess. Also, because of the combination of both, it would cut back on the time-factor (pass the tray/pass the cup).

I tell ya, if I ever listened to myself, I'd be wealthy.

OMG! That's too, too funny! Great ideas, all three, but the third is by far the funniest.

29. Mercury Retrograde 3/19
wasn't somebody in this group saying something about this?

http://www.cynthianovak.com/

Merucury Goes Retrograde on the 19th: Not so bad this time. Happy
Venus and Mars keep humor up and form an antidote for annoyance. We are all so glad that Mars has pulled away from Saturn, little ol' communication snags are child's play. Enjoy some time for mental discipline and quiet. The retrograde lasts 3 weeks.

Passion and love are in their favorite places. Mars enters Capricorn and Venus enters Pisces: Find the Capricorn and Pisces house in your Vedic chart. There you have the opportunity for love and money while you pursue them with good will. This is strong from the 15th until the end of April.
Enjoy.
