Nancy Skinner here, the Democratic candidate in Michigan's 9th CD (suburban Detroit) - fresh off the Yearly Kos convention where I was in attendance. In addition to getting energized, I was able to meet with Joe Trippi and bring him on board the Skinner campaign!

DFA is holding their "grass-roots all-star contest" and the runoff vote is Monday, June 19th by 5:00 PM. I am in second place and need your vote on Monday to win. http://tools.democracyforamerica.com/housevote/index.ph...

1. Hi Sharon, I did vote before and

will Monday internet willing. Mine has been weird lately and hopefully will have time to call the provider and figure it out next week.
The SO came home Thursday telling me about the really neat lady he heard talking on the radio while out your way. He went on and on about her, all praise. When he finally remembered her name it was Nancy Skinner. Takes a bit to impress him to the point he remembers the name and tells me so she must be very good. He doesn't remember what station or interview, just her.

Edited to add, I told him you were volunteering for her and that he met you in DC. His words, I would volunteer too if I were near her district more than a drive through, and he sends a hi to you.

I'm glad he was impressed with her. He may have heard her on Mike Malloy last week. I'm not sure what else she may have been on, but I know Bunny heard her on Malloy.
