3. ugh. Better, I suppose, than Michael
in someone else's comfy pants. Pretty over the top to come to court in your PJs. Can you say "obvious sympathy ploy to distract from upcoming testimony"? I knew you could. Good thing he's not on trial for being a narcissistic weirdo 'cause he's already lost that case hands down. The molestation charges he's at least got a chance of being acquitted. (Haven't heard enough yet to know whether the boy and his family are telling the truth or running a scam although some of Michael's statements are reminiscent of classic creepy pedophilia rationalizations.)

Maybe the judge should just throw MJ a handful of the hillbilly heroin and tell him to sit down and shut up; the trial's fixin' to start for the day. }(

5. I'm still snickering at "hillbilly heroin,"
because every time I hear Oxycontin, I think Rush Windbag. :)

It's snowing, but unless we get a blizzard, I'll be at a meeting tonight. :(

Catch ya later! :hi:

6. hmm... sounds like you need to do some research for the test kitchen
on a cold weather version of the snarkatini -- something more suitable for drinking on a cold winter's night. Try to be good for a change, Ms. Cheeky Cheddar. I'm probably going to miss the meeting again tonight (doctor just upped my migraine-preventing medicine so I'm feeling pretty lousy), but my spies will report back to me. And hey, don't eat all the Girl Scout cookies!

7. let me clarify:
I'll be at a CHURCH meeting tonight.

My brain isn't working well today. I've been forgetting names and can't think of appropriate words, can't focus...

I'll leave the cookies behind the bar. Help yourself (but save the Do-Si-Dos for Sparky).

8. oh! Then you had better be very good indeed
unless it's a nonstandard denomination. (Heh, I almost said "roll your own" but then decided that probably wasn't quite the phrase I wanted to use to describe a religious congregation!)

10. I was the guilty party
who told Carey he was doing false advertising as KO had not blogged in about 2 weeks. :eyes: But then, that very day, KO blogged again!
