1. Hello Dahling!
:hi:

I just heard back from Pangborn. They don't do special order. All ties are 58". Would that work or not?

I there no way he can wear a shorter tie? I just don't know much about ties and how tall a man should be before he needs an extra long.

118. They live in the United States of America
and they are spoiled. Many of them have no conception of what it might be like to live in a country in which their civil liberties were not a basic right. They have taken them for granted for far too long. They will not realize what they have been lost as it is slowly but surely robbed from them little by little, day by day. They do not know that it is typical of totalitarian governments to claim justification for spying on their people in the name of protecting them.

A lot of people in the USA have a lot of realizing to do.

Okay, I shouldn't make fun of crying people, but I think ol' Lindsey needs to be dangled off the Bridge Over Troubled Pickens (a University of South Carolina reference). Say it with me, parents:

But you're right about the MO -- lamenting the cruelty of the Democrats. :eyes: We've seen this all before. The Washingtonian once even depicted Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) in the old Captain Renault costume from Casablanca -- i.e., "I'm shocked, shocked!"

Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 09:36 PM by BerryBush
Some European designer came up with 'em. They have a logo of a cross upside down on a skull. Designer said he came up with them because he wanted to spread the message that Christianity is evil because so many evil things have been done in its name.

*SIGH*

I hope they never get sold here. I can't stand the thought of fundies having jeans bonfires.

127. Obviously Michael is under the, er, misconception
that "Immaculate Conception" refers to the virgin birth. Uh, no.

Wikipedia is your friend, Mr. Musto.

The Immaculate Conception is a Catholic dogma that asserts that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was preserved by God from the stain of original sin at the time of her own conception. Specifically, the dogma says she was not afflicted by the privation of sanctifying grace that afflicts mankind, but was instead filled with grace by God, and furthermore lived a life completely free from sin. It is commonly confused with the doctrine of the virgin birth, though the two deal with separate subjects. Mary was conceived by normal biological means, but her soul was acted upon by God (kept "immaculate") at the time of her conception.

Heck, I'm not even a Catholic, and I know that.

I feel as if I'm playing Religious Mythbuster here lately.
