Monkeying around on the news desk.
Edited on Thu Nov-03-05 03:52 PM by CC
Had to send this to Countdown. http://www.thewbalchannel.com/video/5241948/index.html
Its hilarious and to think I have met Mikey at the vets office and the SO had to give him horsey rides. He was much better behaved there. Might of sent it too late for tonight but if you see Mikey you know where it came from.

2. Unfortunately not my vet
though Dr. Gold isn't too bad to look at either. But Mikey lives in Harford County at the primate rescue which has its unique way of raising funds and awareness. That video should convince people that Chimps are not house pets. We saw him at our vet when he was in for his baby shots along with a little tiny guy (6 mos tops) in for his baby shots. Mikey was well behaved as long as Terry let him sit on his foot and Terry gave a horsey ride. He acted like he did on tv whenever Terry stopped and his human moms tried to take him away. I didn't get to do much more than hold the babies hand since I had Gizmo in my arms. The little one was shy.
I do think Mikey would of done a KO paper throw if they had let him. Maybe Keith can take lessons on how to act when they force him to do a story he doesn't want to do.

3. I hope you added that explanation when you sent it to Keith.
Do ya think the little guy would do a live KO appearance? Dress him up in a little grey suit and tie, add glasses, and hand a stack of papers for him to toss in the air....

I can hear KO now: "I can be replaced."

4. Nope I didn't
But I should have. Wonder if I wrote to Dr. Kim and ask him to bring him back with a suit and tie...then send it to Keith?

6. Hi, hope it's okay to butt in
to Keith's forum. I love him, especially after the election, when he was the only one who dared mention possible fraud. Even my Repub friends like him. I just found out he has a radio show. Didn't know that. My Repub friend told me and asked if I knew him!! :-) I told her to watch his TV show. I think she's a possible convert!! Who wouldn't be??

CC, I also adore the pictures of your animals (are they all yours?) They are sooooo cute.

7. Welcome to the KOEB Catrina
Anyone that loves Keith is welcomed with open arms. And you weren't butting in. Hope you saw the video of Mikey on the news deck. Its worth the time. Unfortunately I am not around much these days due to work but all the EDVs and the men who love them will give you a warm welcome.

Yes they are all mine though Gizmo and Stormy have crossed over. We went through a period that the KOEB lost too many animals. Clark's Blue, Rev's Roo and then Gizmo. I like to think dog, cat and ferret are up there trying to pass along to us that everyone should get along, regardless of species, race, religion, and sexual orientation.

9. Thank you for the welcome CC
So sorry about the loss of the pets. I lost my favorite feral kitty last summer, Spencer. He was only five, and I had turned him into a very spoiled house kitty, but he had kidney problems. I still have his wild mom, who is now a house cat also ~ which makes me worry less about her. She is called 'mouse'.

I can't see videos on this computer so I'm not sure who Mikey is ~ I try not to miss KO's show ~ but can't always make it so I may have missed that one ~

I agree about the animals. I like to imagine that all my animals who have passed on are playing happily somewhere waiting for us, and that one day, we will all get along, as you say.

Thanks again for the welcome, I had wondered where all the KO threads had gone. Now I know ~ :-)

10. Hi Catrina!
Come into the light! All are welcome!!!!

I felt the same way about Keith after the election as you.

Keith doesn't have a radio show now, but he does spend an hour with Dan Patrick each week on his show on ESPN Radio. It's the 2 to 3 PM ET hour--usually on Fridays, although sometimes that has changed. They're usually a laugh riot as they talk about current events in sports.

There are many animal lovers here, too!
