No KO tonight!
But I'm not surprised, figured it would happen anyway.

4. Yeah, Gogi, why'd you figure he'd be off tonight?
Did you just assume he has to go out searching for victims whose blood he can drink to keep himself animated for another year?

Or is he secretly a Wiccan and this is a holy night of obligation for him?

Or does he have to take the kids trick-or-treating? (WHAT kids??)

...Oh, no wait. That's it.

KEITH has to go trick-or-treating. Himself.

Here's hoping he covers a lot of territory.

Be listening for your doorbell tonight, and if you answer it to find a really tall kid with caterpillar eyebrows, glasses and a chin dimple holding out his bag, be sure to fill it up with gluten-free candy.

That's YOU, of course. I have a slightly different treat in mind.

5. Oh, and one more thing...
It IS possible...given that he HAS done it before...that KO takes time off for things other than baseball.

And no, I did NOT mean that as an excuse for a salacious thread to commence...

3. What's up with that?
Who's filling in?

I have to run up and down the stairs tonight anyway, so I guess it's not so bad. The cable guy replaced our upstairs box today and now our downstairs box isn't working for some stupid reason. He didn't touch that one. They can't get back out here until Thursday.

Damn, I'm pissed.

13. We only had five kids
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 08:25 PM by SharonRB
until just now when we got about 6 or 7 older kids from a neighboring community. I'm about ready to shut off the light.

As I went to shut the light off, I got about 6 more older kids, all girls -- I gave them handfuls of candy just to get rid of most of it. Then I turned out the light and someone still rang the bell, but I didn't bother answering it.

I thought there would be more Harry Potters, but I got a lot of "Brides of Dracula" instead.

At least they don't go to that elementary school in MA that cancelled Halloween. I guess it's retribution for the "War on Christmas" we're waging.

However, I don't like Scalia clones.

But I do like the framing of the "weakness" and Dean's use of "activist judge". I don't like him, no sir.

I think that if there's enough of a paper trail to show that he hates women and minorites, and wants to turn the clock back 200 years rights-wise, he might not get enough R votes.

Still :scared:

Make that "waaaay green...BANG!"

But I do believe that's what they intended...

Of course, if they DID have masks of Imus or Cosby, they wouldn't need to make them green to make them terrifying.

Of course, with Cosby the mask itself wouldn't be nearly as terrifying as the voice.

I have a pretty low startle reflex, too. Annoys the hell out of my husband when he unwittingly "sneaks up" on me while I'm washing the dishes or something and don't hear him come into the room. And believe me baby, I am the definition of LOUD. I was in a minor car accident years ago with a friend who was truly impressed by the volume; she said it was more frightening than the actual collision. :7

I have a feeling that my daughter won't be there much longer. I think she may come home in January and stay home for six months or a year to regroup and figure out what she really wants to do. She really wants to go back to DC, but needs to seriously change course. She needs a real job with benefits and regular pay and she doesn't like it in FLA.
