Although this looks like it was taken during the time we had that stupid yellow halo on the stadium. There were so many complaints, they took it down.

My seats are in the upper right corner, straight up from the edge of the end zone, in row 78.

wasn't he the dashing yankee doodle dummy in red/white/blue (or should i say it in french "bleu/blanc/rouge" just to piss him off)? so sad about the indictment, yet not angry at all that someone he supposedly ordered to cooperate fully w/the investigation ended up being charged w/obstruction of it? oh sure, he wanted to get to the bottom of the outing of valerie plame. yah.

Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 08:06 PM by Patsy Stone
I'm actually still reading the indictment, and I still have to find the video of Fitzgerald's statement.

All in all, a terrible day for America and a small step for justice. I'm amazed that he hasn't even had the chance to delve into the real issues of the case because it took him this long to figure out what the heck the real truth was.

And Libby, blaming Tim, shame on you.

123. LOL
"like someone without her methadone dixie cup" I just saw your post in my thread from yesterday.

I was sooo worried that I'd miss Fitzmas, but in a cathartic, "Take it easy, you're obsessing!" way, it was nice to be out of touch.

I think that the national news was looking for a bad story after Wilma, and don't get me wrong, there are still lots of people without power and so many trees and more than a few roofs are destroyed, so they took the video of the first day or so and ran with it. FPL's doing a fine job. They already have the power back on to half of the 900K people who don't have it and 300K are back on in Broward.

We'll actually see how FEMA performs in the next few months as people try and get their houses repaired and aid requests filled. It ain't over yet, they still have plenty of time to screw up. It was nice to see Jebbie's mea culpa though, even if it wasn't really necessary.

I'm trying to stay up for the repeat of Fitz's press conference on C-SPAN at 11:50. At the very least, I'm gonna tape it. Only on page 8 of 22 of the indictment, and I'm already sleepy, but I can't put it down. :)

101. Hi, just got back to the computer. Had to chauffer the offspring to
various Halloween parties. I'm back now for the moment.

No, I didn't write the poem, I got it off of firedoglake's blog this morning. That, btw, is one of the best blogs to follow about this case, although you guys probably know about it already. One of the people who blogs there is a prosecutor, or was, so the information is really interesting and it's sometimes very funny too. Not sure which of the three that run the site is the prosecutor, but Jane Hammsher posts occasionally over at Huffington post too.

How about what Lawrence O'Donnell had to say. Pretty awesome, Libby is facing time and can't plea down unless he gives something up to Fitz, and Rove would've been better off with a minor charge today because now, under the cloud, everyday he works at the WH is a bad day for the WH. Also, if Scooty goes to trial, Darth Cheney has to testify under oath, as well as Ari, and Unca KKKarl. Oh my.

I'm exhibiting at an art fair in NYC this week with my Nashville gallery and one of the other artists they represent has a sculpture up in the booth. It's a very lifelike sculpture of Karl Rove in a suit with a rat's tail and hands. It's great, I keep forgetting to bring my camera to take a picture of it. We get a lot of comments from all kinds of people. Most say they could never live with such a thing but a few people have said 'can I buy it just so that I can break it.'
We were a bit bummed today that the Pillsbury Roveboy didn't go down for the count with Irv but I'm optimistic.

107. Thanks, so far it's been a great show. Lots of people, two cocktail
parties (you know I liked that). One sale so far, and two full days to go. I also may have picked up a Montreal gallery out of it so in case Bushco. doesn't get impeached eventually I can move to Canada (just kidding, I'm going to stay and fight). The art in a lot of the other galleries is beautiful and inspiring. I'm bringing my daughter there tomorrow before her class, I'm sure she'll love it.

111. I would love that. Don't know of any galleries in your area, do you?
I am actively trying to get some representation in other parts of the country. I just got a gallery in Beacon, NY, which is the new Chelsea on the Hudson with a lot of NYC galleries having branches up there, and I'm showing in a gallery in Chicago next summer, not certain whether I'll join as an officially represented artist yet. I will be sending out slide packets to lots of different places in the next six months or so, if I find the name of one in Michigan, what towns should I look in? I know you are close to Detroit, but from what I know, the music scene is still hopping in Detroit, don't know about the art scene.

135. Good places to look are Ferndale and Birmingham
There are a number of galleries in each and they are close to me. Royal Oak, if you see any, is really close to me also, but I'm not sure if there are any good galleries. Ann Arbor isn't close, but may be a good place to look (about 45 minutes from me).

Good luck!

139. do we really know that?
or is this more "information" being circulated by Luskin? Saying the information "gave him pause" makes it sound like Rove came up with something that makes Fitz think Rove is innocent. More likely, IMHO, Rove is trying to cut a deal -- or Fitz is trying to decide how many counts of obstruction of justice or perjury or something else would be appropriate. Or maybe he's dithering with whether or not to charge Rove under the espionage act. This "gave him pause" just sounds so spin-like to me and everyone associated with Fitz has been so notoriously tight-lipped that I'm thinking we should take that with a canister of salt. Kosher, if you prefer. :-)

72. My feeling is that if Fitz cuts a deal with Rove, it's because he gets
to yet a bigger crime.

I trust Fitz not to let Rove skate unless the resulting payoff is even greater.

(But I still want to see Rove turning on a spit over a fire.)
