KOEB -- 10/13/05: Oh, Scotty... Oh, Georgie...

It's the look that says, "Ick!" It's the suit that says, "Yum!"

Let us all bask in the glow of incisive questions; pithy, pointed comments, and, last but not least, snark!

I'll go cancel mine.

The trickle is turning into a downpour -- I had MSNBC on all day and they're talking about leakgate non-stop now.

He told some soldier they looked familiar and then he said "I probably look familiar to you, too." Or something like that. So funny I forgot to laugh.

1998. Chuck Knoblauch pointing at a ball running down the first-base line, yelling that it was OUT OF PLAY, while the Indians continued to run merrily around the bases. Hysterical.

Ol' Chuck was never quite the same after that. Made him a little loopy. From then on he started doing wild things like mis-throwing the ball and hitting people's mothers in the head.

I get all warm inside just thinking about that incident...so long as I forget about the AL series that took place afterward, aka "The Red Sox Bloodbath." :scared:

Sheridan is a lover not a biter(Unfortunately in this case). He would lick him to death and then die of neo-con poisoning. A truly gruesome death to be sure.

So I would never put my baby in that position. :)

there's been a tarot reading that's been kicked around & around for a year. it predicted that the downfall of the shrubbie administration would begin with a woman represented by the Queen of Cups. there has been much speculation as to who this person is, & while initially i was thinking valerie plame, i'm now in the cindy sheehan camp. i find it interesting that the wheels on the bus started falling off when cindy set up shop in a ditch outside crawford.

145. Interesting observation
i deal with victims of domestic violence, & so i also have to deal with the abusers, most of whom are assholes. these jerks basically have never, ever been told "no" their entire lives & therefore have no way of coping when someone tells them "no" or things don't go the way they want. they end up acting like spoiled three year olds, getting snotty & mentally (sometimes physically) abusive, & shifting blame for their actions onto their victims.....sound like anyone we know & loathe?

you know who i hate dealing with more than the abuser? dealing with their MOMS!!! my god, what bitches they can be!!! no matter how long their darling son's rap sheet is, he's always been the PERFECT ANGEL & the victim is no-account trash. some of the moms even say "i was beaten by his dad & i put up with it. why can't she?" :wow:

while shrubbie probably isn't a physical abuser (because there's more than one way to inflict abuse), he's got the personality markers of an abuser plus an upbringing that encouraged that sort of behavior.

61. Chummy McSharkbait. Unbelievable.
That interview with the soldiers, even more unbelievabler.

Dana Milbank 'Scot is a good and decent person who did the best he could in the situation.' Exsqueeze me, baking powder, he impugned the integrity of the reporters, and repeatedly catapaulted more propaganda than I thought was even possible for a pudgy little f*cktard such as he is. Can you say Scottie's a LIAR Dana.

Why oh why do we have to listen to Dana's smarmy opinion on anything. I hate it when he's on.

Wish they'd shown Snottie attacking Helen Thomas's patriotism. That was so 'good and decent' of him.

Can't Chryssie refuse to allow him to play it, or can't she ask her record company as a favor to her as the goddamn best rock and roll front woman of all time to do her the courtesy of denying Oxycontinhead from playing that amazing song and besmirching its veritable classic status with any association with his bloviating, lying, hate-filled program.

226. I have never understood why Chrissie Hynde didn't sue Rush's ass off
rather than continue to allow him to use "My City Was Gone" as his theme song.

It's still got one of the greatest riffs in rock ever, but now I can't think of it without thinking of Rush. Which is like thinking of Bush every time you hear the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction."

Except it's even worse if you're from Ohio because then you feel as if Rush stole something that belonged to YOU PERSONALLY and used it for his own nefarious purposes. Sort of like finding out your car was stolen and used in a kidnapping.

And from the front view, the only way that ball could be cleanly caught is if the finger side of the glove was tucked under the ball. Wasn't.
