I just got done talking with my friend who's telling me more about him. She keeps saying "he's eccentric," to which I reply, "well, hell, so am I." And we've all agreed that the expectation is that I'm going to meet a new friend... if something else develops, then all the better. :)

That doesn't have to be bad. But be careful. One "eccentric" guy I was set up with turned out to be a guy who likes to set things on fire and see what happens. I mean, assemble great piles of junk and set it on fire. Lots of plastic stuff, too. I think maybe he got too close to the fumes one time.

Mystery Science Theater 3000, often abbreviated MST3K, is an American cult television comedy series created by Joel Hodgson and produced by Best Brains, Inc., that ran from 1988 to 1999.

The series features a man and his robot sidekicks who are trapped on a space station by an evil scientist and forced to watch a selection of bad movies, initially (but not especially limited to) science fiction B-movies.
