34. It was exactly what I needed today, thanks.

My friend's dog died early this morning, after a night of suffering. Neither of the two vets they called would answer their call in the middle of the night, the bastards. I hope they burn for it, too.
I also found out that today would have been her mother's birthday... she died way too young, too, and suffered. Sue told me it ripped open all those wounds.

So, now I have a new prayer request: that CC will find his way over to her house and comfort her will all kinds of silly orange cat love. Her response was "that would be a miracle." I'm praying for that miracle.

I cried with her all morning, and was frustrated that we're so far apart... but I'm going to try to get up there to see her this weekend if I can.
