2. The last two weeks
Edited on Mon Mar-01-10 08:14 PM by Patsy Stone
kicked my ass. Too much going on all at once. I'll be glad to settle back into less than 4 hours of sports per night. But they were great. And, to quote Bob Costas, there was even the "always enjoyable, giant inflatable beaver" thrown into the mix.

I couldn't get a special commemorative Olympic can for Diet Coke with a silhouette of Evan Lysacek on it, so I got you their latest flavor instead:

32. Hi Sharon!
I was thrilled at the turnout... most of the people were pro-healthcare, except for the row of Freepers who sat right in front of me. When they got up to leave, one of them muttered "unbelievable... they're all full of shit." So I muttered right back "maybe it's just you."

27. Russ told us about Crazy Jim's vote on Friday.
I gasped "NO!" and Russ said "well, that's his right as a Senator; any one of us could object to any bill. I'm not saying that I agree with him, I dont - but it is within his right."
And at that point, I began to cry. Hot silent tears for all the people who are at the end of their rope.

75. You should check out this blog:
http://classicshowbiz.blogspot.com/

Look in the December 2009 listings--he has a Christmas episode of "My World and Welcome To It" linked in there. I watched it. Quite interesting and it made me think of Keith, strangely enough.

The father has put off getting a gift for his daughter, who wants the year's hot doll, until the last minute. Instead, he ends up buying her an American flag. At first she thinks he's nuts, but in the long run she comes to appreciate his bizarrely chosen gift.
