My brain is totally fried. I sat around most of the day with nothing to do and client edits started coming in at about 4:30 on stuff I had been waiting for all day. I had to go to my dad's after work, so it will all have to get done tomorrow. I refused to do any work at home tonight.

He just got back from a month in Israel yesterday.


The only problem is he wasn't feeling well while he was gone and one night when he got up at my sister's to have some tea and toast he either fell or blacked out and his glasses caused him to get a black eye and he lost a tooth. Right now he looks like he was mugged, but he'll be okay.

We let someone go, and a portion of her work fell to me. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a very picky customer and they want everything perfect the first time. Even if there are changes which aren't our fault, we (I) get yelled at. I come to find out that the woman who handled this customer apparently used to spoon feed them, never wrote up exactly what she was doing for them, and now that they notice a change, instead of just sending a list of requirements, they prefer to bitch and moan about each thing individually -- over the course of weeks. It's like going in and seeing what fresh new Hell will rear it's head today, even though it wasn't mentioned yesterday when they were bitching at us for what went wrong the day before. We asked for a detailed explanation of what they want, but it has to go through a wimpy idiot filter first, so you never get the real story because he's afraid to ask the right question -- because they might yell at him.

Blecccccch.

But enough about me. Let's talk about you. What do you think about me? :)
