6. So, today it was my turn to have cable issues.

At midnight last night, in the middle of Sense and Sensibility, the cable went all hinky. It stayed that way, going in and out, alternating between snow, pixelation, and a black screen all day and most of the evening. However, just before 8 p.m., it came back on and it looks perfect. Yay!

14. DH just walked in and said he saw a cable truck leaving the island.

Funny that. When I called this morning they told me it was just me. They wanted me to schedule a very expensive appointment on Saturday morning to fix it.

25. My cable was out one time, and there was a cable truck right

across the street. They were packing up to go, and my cable still wasn't working. I went over and talked to them. They said, no, we're fixing the cable on THIS side of the street, not your side of the street (both sides of the street are powered from the same box on the pole). He said I would have to wait until they got the order to fix the cable on my side of the street.

Needless to say, I blew my stack, called the cable company, and told them to send the damned truck back.

They did.

Jeez, how do these people even go to the bathroom by themselves?? :grr:
