Keith meltdown?
My mom, who is somewhat of an independent, was telling me that Keith is going nuts and being arrogant, getting in fights, etc. I don't get cable anymore, so I have no clue.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

1. Your mother has either been reading too many Rupert Murdoch publications
or watching too much Fox News. (Of course, reading ANY of Rupe's publications or watching ANY of Fox News is "too much.")

Keith is fine. Problem is, Rupe and his minions tried their damndest last week--striking when the iron was hot--to spread one nasty rumor after another about him at the Dem convention, whipping up anything he said or did on camera into a huge "fight" with his coworkers and denouncing his supposed bias as making him unfit to anchor a convention. Object: making sure they got him out of the Repug convention.

Well, they have been successful so far, in that they've been able to make MSNBC keep him in New York so far. But they had Gustav as an excuse--saying they needed Keith to anchor weather news. Tonight, he's still in New York, but being used to anchor the convention long distance while Tweety and David Gregory coanchor on site.

If they keep him in New York all week, I can only conclude that MSNBC has knuckled under to pressure from Rupert Murdoch. If so, Keith is no doubt furious.

If they think this is going to keep Keith from anchoring debate coverage or on Election Night, they're barking up the wrong tree.

Asshats.

2. Thanks, that's what I told my mom was probably going on.
Keith is becoming more comfortable in his liberalness, and the conservative hate it.
