Margaret Carlson: Obama "is something other than us."
Question for Margaret: Exactly who ARE "us"?

She called him "exotic" and essentially defended the Karl Rove "country club" image on Morning Joke today. Not a one pointed out how ridiculous that image is given how he would have been excluded from MANY country clubs for years, or how deliberate a plant attempt it was on Rove's part, but rather talked about how true it is.

Pat Buchanan is actually jumping on her for using "exotic," saying when HE used it, HE had to defend it! "Well, he went to the University of Chicago, ha ha."

Now Mika is saying "He's the guy who stole your job away after you did everything right."

How, Mika? Because "you" are assumed to be white, and he got HANDED your job because of affirmative action, even though he didn't work as hard as you did?

This whole panel is white--Mike Barnicle, who is subbing for Joe, Margaret, Mika, Willie Geist.

Pat: "Why, he takes off his SHOES before he enters a mosque! When Ramadan ends, he CELEBRATES!"

Gosh. You know what? I have gone to Jewish weddings, and when I was at them, I DANCED THE HORA. I guess that makes me Jewish.

Oh, they finally acknowledged that if you're going to run for president, you have to have some ego. Thank goodness.
