So I happened to be watching figure skating tonight, and...

...Bob Costas is on the broadcast (I guess NBC likes to get its money's worth out of him) and he's doing plugs for upcoming shows on NBC, like they normally do on sports broadcasts, during breaks in the action when they come back from commercials. And this time he's plugging the show that's coming on right afterward, which happens to be a Guinness Book of World Records show in which they're having a countdown of the top 100 world records.

So what does he say but:

"Coming up next...'Countdown,' but not with Keith Olbermann..."

So there you have it. Keith gets a free plug from Costas, even when his show's not on.

Maybe it was his idea of a birthday shout-out.
