39. I didn't hear her mention her today

but I heard she mentioned her day before yesterday.

We finally got my mom's results. She does, in fact, have a malignant tumor. They don't know the exact origin yet, but it is in an organ that can't be removed. Once they get all the bile drained out, she will probably be able to go home and then start chemo on an outpatient basis. The doctor says it's treatable, so we're pretty optimistic, but it's going to be a long haul, I'm afraid.
