I mean, it's a valid question. Maybe there should be a "note" at the top saying something to the effect of "we're not here to celebrate criminal acts, but to better understand them, blah blah blah...".

Thanks for setting this forum up. I've been leaning toward studying Criminal Justice when I can afford to go back to school...it a prerequisite for working as a Department of Fisheries and Oceans Officer, which is where my career is going, I think.

(with help) because I did not want those types of harassing posts.

While I personally did not find the Laci Peterson case overly interesting, I did see others who would post here on DU about it get the crap kicked out of them for mentioning it...like they were not committed progressives or something because they had a side interest in the LP case.

Although the criticism is valid-she was young, pretty, middle class (or with MC aspirations), THAT was why she got the airplay she did (oh, and was a fetus container). Still, we want to discuss TC here without being bugged about it.
