This is a terrible story, (girl hanged in TX) but I'll probably keep up with it until it's resolved.

Apparently, there was an arrest (the mother's boyfriend).

This isn't the greatest thread ever, but some interesting issues were raised, including a mention of the rampant pedophile problem in this nation (though that and other topics are probably best discussed in other forums).
