Homina homina! Dig that beautiful Holden Efijy!
Check it out:

Holden, the Australian division of GM, designed and built this show car on a Corvette platform. (The Holden Monaro is sold in the US as the Pontiac GTO.) If GM built and sold cars like this over here, it might not be in such dire straits in the US.

1. I believe the correct word is "yowza"
That's one stylin' auto :-) (though I don't know if I like the long back - reminds me of the train of a wedding dress)

2. when's the Chevy version coming out?
My guess is that if and when Holden actually puts this thing on the market, it won't look anything close to that. It would be pretty watered down.

But how watered down could something like this possibly get?

Pardon my French, but that's a beautiful fucking car!

3. It's gorgeous...
...until you read about the US$ 1.5M price tag and the 600-hp V8 inside, and you realize it's another rich man's gas-guzzling toy.

4. Well, here's another toy if you've got $1M burning a hole in your pocket
Behold... the Bugatti Veyron 16.4:

253mph. 1001hp. Basically 2 V-8 motors welded together. And it gets 7mpg, just to piss off all the people in General Discussion. Oh, and she's purty, too!

6. It's a show car. Show cars are outrageously expensive.
If and when they become production models, the outrageously expensive features are replaced by ones that make the car a lot more affordable. And, sure, it's a rich man's toy. But it is a really pretty car.
