The Only Problem With the 2006 Elections
Is that we didn't elect ENOUGH Dems.

I am so tired of the GOP apologists whose fearless leader and his party got everything they wanted for 6 years handed to him on a silver platter ask me "What have the Dems in Congress done to change things?"

Par for the course they don't understand how government works. It takes 66 senators to override a Presidential veto (and always has). I don't know if Dems can fix everything, but I do know where we are today isn't because of the Democratic majority in Congress we've had for the past year.

1. We sure as shit tried.
You are aware that there was more confirmed electoral fraud in 06 than in any previous election? Ran the gamut from 'faulty' machines, to misallotment of voting machines based on demographics, to purging of voting lists, to discarding of provisional ballots...

By rights we should have had 20 more congressmen and 2 more senators.

2. Yes
I am just frustrated right now with the GOP trying to pin the their failures on the Dem majority in Congress.

Their (GOP) policies were misguided, wrong and corrupt. It comes down to that, and most of the clueless have yet to figure it out.

3. We tried but the DLC type Democrats failed to support them
so only pro-war, immigration candidates would win. We have lots of Progressive candidates who lost all around the country. Dean brought it to the local level and states did that.

The country was ready for change and wanted Progressives (out of Iraq, investigate 911, hold the crooks responsible, stop the huge flow of illegal immigrants across the border, etc.). We should have won over Congress in a landslide with power to go with it. Nope the "globalists" didn't want it.

We have been betrayed by our own since 2000. That's how I see after what has gone on in the country and party. This present election is just another betrayal with Democrats working with Republicans to not allow two huge states their voice and vote. Fire them all!!

It is our party and our democratic country (which our ancestors fought hard to protect) not the few elite.
