1/30/2008 Workout
What do you know; we've been at this a whole month already!

B-)

I did the usual this am. Still working on my pacing though. I'm not quite as fast for as long as I'd like to be... yet.

How about you?

1. Swam this morning
It was 37 F out when I left the house, but that didn't deter me from swimming outdoors. Fortunately the covers come off the heated pool before practice so it doesn't lose too much warmth.

I put in an hour with the masters swim club. Warmup: 300 yd. freestyle, 200 pull; drills with fins and paddles and then some more freestyles and then it's out the pool, into my fleece and off to the nearest Starbucks to warm up!

That's incredible, Ellen. :D

No way I could swim in a cold pool.

Nice job. :-)

5. Wow, good for you Ellen!

I am such NOT the swimmer. I can do it, I just wouldn't want to. :D I'd rather get wet from sweating really hard and avoid the whole swimsuit thang. heh.

:hi:

6. Now see that's why I like the water!
No matter how hard I work, I emerge all cooled and refreshed!

Plus, the more you swim...the better you look in the suit..heh heh
