Has anyone here tried T-Tapp?
I have lots of their exercise tapes. I bought most of them on ebay. I have some health issues, so it's been slow going. I had to stop again recently due to a new health issue, but hoping to find out what's going on now at the doctors today. I'm very anxious to get back into a daily routine.

Another thing I love is MBT shoes. Since I became ill, in 2001, I wasn't able to gain any strength in my legs. I did some searching on the net and ran across MBT shoes. In July 2006, I took the plunge and found a store in my state that carried them. I've worn them exclusively since then and now have 5 different styles for variety. After the first 6 weeks I could feel the strength in my legs returning. No more back pain, no tired aching feet or legs and I can raise my legs without having them quiver. By walking in these shoes, you use around 19% more muscle in the calfs alone.

Anyway, I thought I'd throw these out in case anyone else might find them helpful and want to add them to their exercise program.

Here is the T-Tapp site which also has a forum: http://www.t-tapp.com/

Here is the corporate site for the MBT shoes: http://www.swissmasaius.com/

1. The shoes look very interesting.
Perfect timing! I'm in need of new walking shoes. I am going to check them out. There are two shops in my town.

Thanks!!

2. I think once you get through the introduction phase
you will love them. DON'T put them on and expect to walk in them right away. You will be using muscles you've probably not used before. Your feet may get a bit numb and tired at first. It is because of the blood flow to the feet. Some don't notice much, others, like me, notice that alot in the beginning. Start with like 15 to 30 mins a day for a few days, then increase the time. You will stand more upright, take shorter steps (your ankle should never go beyond the knee). As I said above, I have lots of health issues. Hopefully the employees in the stores will have some knowledge on how to build up to wearing them non-stop. Each pair comes with a video about the shoe, building up to wearing them, etc, so be sure they give one to you. I have several styles I like in the winter and then several for summer. I also have one pair of the higher ones, to add to my walking routine. If I can be of any help to you, don't hesitate to contact me. If they made slippers, I'd have a pair of those too. I am pain free, head to toe, for the first time in many, many years.

I posted another thread about these shoes, forgetting that I first heard of them here! So sorry!

I did mention them in the office & one of my friends has a pair. She loves them, too!

4. To answer your T-Tapp question...
:D

I have looked at the sample moves and it looks very interesting. I am looking for ways to do strength training that don't involve a lot of weights.
