NOVA marathon challenge

It played nationally Tuesday night, it may be repeating on some PBS stations.

A well put together episode regarding a dozen people going through a 40 week training program to run their first marathon (Boston 2007). It gave me a greater appreciation how difficult it is to do it, that not everyone is cut out for it, and the physiological changes the body goes through.

1. I don't think I could even run a mile.
I think running is the hardest exercise!

It's nice they split it into chapters. My husband is a runner. I'll tell him about this.
