BAH
Just a vent...

I've been feeling like a real slob for awhile now... I had some unpleasant stuff going on during the winter (long story, tmi) and kind of holed up for awhile and stopped caring about life...

Now I'm back in the gym and trying to keep my hand out of the Ruffles bag but I'm feeling... sort of lost.

I got really sick of dieting, and I really don't ever want to do it again (after dieting for way too long and losing about 60 lbs) but I've gained a bit of weight as a result of my hermitage. I'm not really one to give a lick about scale weight but noticing a +10 change is significant enough that I know I need to curb it before things get out of hand.

Anyway - I don't really need any help - I know what to do - I just have to make myself do it! Argh.

I think I'm going to do this "Couch to 3K" running program for a few months since I've been meaning to "learn" how to run for a long time now. That should help :D.

Just say no to chips and cake!

That is all.

John Bingham

He's a hero of mine. Never in a million years would I have thought of myself as a runner, but I am. I'm not a fast runner and I'll never win a race, but I run nonetheless.

And you can have a piece of cake... just not every day.

And you can have a handful of chips... just not every day.

I think most people find that by making very small changes that they can sustain, they lose the weight and keep it off.

I'm sure you'll be fine.
