Well, I'm living proof - the "10 minutes for 3 times per day" is a load of bunk!

It really is about contiguous effort rather than accumulated effort.

Now I gotta stay on it. x(

1. frankly even 30 minute all at once
isn't going to create great change.

What it will do is help to keep your heart and lungs healthy, and it will establish the habit of regular exercise (and frankly, getting the habit established is the first step).

So you START w/ 30 minutes a day, and then you add on that even a little more cardio and some weight training, and flexibility training too. That's how you change your body.

3. Well, if nothing else
you can be sure that it will at least get different. Change is about the only thing we can truly count on in this world.

(I don't know what the problems are, but for you I'll hope that things get better. :hug:)

4. Thanks! I have thought things out;
I will star with 6 rounds of 5 minutes on the elliptical trainer until my legs are built up again. Then I'll go for longer.

6 times on each day of the weekends; interspersed by 2 hour rest periods.

4 times of longer times during the week day when possible...

It's sad. I felt more burn on the trainer this morning than I had in 4 hours of shopping/walking yesterday! :wow:
