Fitness Year In Review...
So how did you do this year? Hit any goals? Miss any?

Me, oh my. My goal was to gain some weight and hit 180lbs by my 35th birthday in January - not gonna happen. 3 months ago I thought I had it in the bag easily by Thanksgiving, but one thing and then another and I'm still hovering 174-177.

Because of a new addition to the family, a few bouts with colds/flu and some minor surgery, I'd say that I didn't quite hit the goals this year, but all the same, I'm certainly healthier, feeling (and looking???) better than ever before and ready for next year.

How about you?

1. Goals were to recover from knee surgery, prep the other knee for surgery,
increase my endurance, rebuild my muscle tone, be more fit and if I happened to lose weight, it would be all good.

I hit my goals to at least 80%.

3. Gained a fair amount of weight, but finally got healthy
I'm injury free right now and have been for a two months. Unfortunately the injuries led to malaise and bad habits that had me puttting on some extra pounds. I'll start on the cardio program this week and try to melt it off. Today I weighed 180, more than I ever have in my life. I need to drop ~20 lbs to be really fit.

4. My goal was to establish a fitness routine
Well, that was my biggest goal, and I believe I have met it.

I also had the goal of running a 5K race, and I managed to do 3 of them.

I, too, had some surgery and sickness at the end of the year that kept me out of the gym. I expect to be back tomorrow.
