Tuesday, 10/25: I worked out today--did you?
:hi: Good morning!

I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, and then went to the weight room for leg adductor, leg abductor, chest press, shoulder press, and my usual knee work.

My left hip is bothering me. It bothered me a little yesterday; it's bothering me a lot today. About 10 years ago I was treated for bursitis in it. I can only hope this is not a reoccurrence (though I have to say, it sure feels like it).

I'm going to try to keep my weight off of it for a couple of days. (I'm running a 5K on Sunday, and I'd like to make sure the hip will take it.)

So, what's your story today?

1. I swam my 1.25 miles this morning.
My shoulders don't really hurt, but they feel like the weakest part of the swimming machine. The last couple swims have not been inspirational and I wonder if I would benefit from a week off or if that would make it worse?

2. I did tai-chi, belly dancing & walked today.
My tummy muscles are aching from yesterday's pilates.
I took almost 2 weeks off while I was sick & I can really tell.

7. Those numbers look good...
Do you use straps? I've been thinking of getting them to help my failing grip.

8. Raw, no straps or braces

I do it in the mornings so I'm usually barefoot and in my boxers. I had to adjust my grip after the first 3 at 275 and breakin it off the floor with no bounce was tough.
