I rode my bike to the Y at 5:30 and got my swim in. It was harder work than I expected it to be, but that's what you have to put in to get the benefits!

1. 45 minutes of cardio - on the interval setting.
According to the calorie counter (inaccurate, I know): 685.5 calories burned. :bounce:

2. Glad I found this group!!!

edited dut to me walking at 4mph instead of the posted 4mpg (and no, I don't drive a Hummer!)

Amazing what you find when you go through the forum titles every year or so :)

I have been on a MAJOR fitness/diet kick for a bit over a year...I've been walking a couple of hours daily usually (having a hyper dog helps!). But, I just started doing weights, and I'm 'enjoying' it mostly :) I've had problems with stress in the past, and the exercise is truly keeping those problems down pretty well...

BTW: I LOVE these daily exercise postings...

This morning I walked at a high rate (~4mph) for 50 minutes, and worked at the gym on my abs, obliques, & back :) IF IT DOESN'T RAIN, my walk buddy will be over later this afternoon for a two hour walk through my local graveyard (boo!).

4. Walked 3 miles of mostly hills in an hour
I feel so much better. I can't tell you how grateful I am that I had that epidural steroid injection in my neck. The pain has decreased to a point where I feel like I could cry with joy. :D

I love my gym on Thursdays, as it's pretty much empty.
