Wed., 9/14: I worked out today--did you?
Well, I tried something different today. I participated in an indoor cycling (spinning) class.

Let's just say, it's quite a work out. I kept up pretty well, until the last 10 minutes, where exhaustion combined w/ a sore (ahem) left me unable to keep up. (I thought I had enough natural backside padding to be okay w/ the bike seat, but as it turns out, it's not your backside that ends up sore. It's your petoody (sp?) and inner thighs.)

Anyway, I'll keep going back. I want to get in good bike shape for spring when I have a real bike and begin triathlon training in earnest.

After the class, I went to the strength equipment room and did the leg adductor, the lat pull-down, the tricep curl, and my regular knee work.

5. 65 minutes on the treadmill equals 3.7 miles
I think I might up the speed at which I walk pretty soon, but I might not be in good enough shape to sustain it for an hour.

prevented me from completing Step Jam. I don't even know what prompted it; suddenly, it started bleeding and I spent half an hour trying to get it to quit. x(

Edit: It's Step Blast, not Step Jam :-)
