Saturday 9/3. Did y'all work out today? I did and I'm whupped.

Saturday 9/3. Did y'all work out today? I did and I'm whupped.
I lifted weights and then walked for an hour on the treadmill covering 3.48 miles. I looked up how many calories I burn when I do that workout and it's 780. It's about 500 just for the walk. I burn 4480 calories a week exercising. But I am currently about 260 pounds so those calorie numbers will drop as I lose weight. But when I found out that I burn 500 calories on a walk the thought actually crossed my mind that I should walk for 2 hours a day at 3.5 mph. I'd burn 7000 calories a week doing that. I think I might be going insane.

1. i did and i'm beat too! 60 minutes on the treadmill, incline on 5 and 6
and then i mowed my lawn and pulled weeds.

2. I'm taking today off.
Tomorrow I'm going to a Nia class that's a benefit for the Red Cross, then I'll probably take a walk later. :hi:

3. I wanted to, but I kinked my neck either yesterday at the gym
or last night sleeping, and it hurts like hell, so I took the day off. My shoulders will regret that.

Oh well. I'll likely take tomorrow off too.

I did head down to the HOA pool this morning and got a couple "laps" (in the tiny pool) done before the maintenance guy came by to dump 2 gallons of chlorine in and I was so tired I could hardly stand it.

Man! I've forgotten how hard swimming is! Felt good, though.
