just 3 months ago, i was ready to start the grueling process of trying to get ssi disability. i had so much pain, i could barely sit in a chair. i couldn't drive a stick shift car. but thanks to du, specifically warpy, i finally got an accurate dx of fibromyalgia. docs just gave me some pills, but did not tell me that sleep can be a part of the problem. in fact, some people consider it a sleep disorder, period. i needed to do several things to fix my sleep besides just take the pills, but it was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. over a period of several weeks, the stiffness and pain just sort of leaked out of my body. instead of looking at the clock in the morning, and thinking 'oh, god, i can't get up' now i think 'ok time to get up. i wonder if i can squeeze in a bike ride today' out of nowhere, health has snuck into my body. tomorrow is my 51st b-day. on my 50th, i spent the day fighting back tears, as i thought life was over. for my 51st, i was told i had to get myself a good bike, and stop borrowing my problem kid's bike. i found myself a great little old huffy at a used bike place for $35, so i am going to spend the rest of the budget on champagne.
