fixed my sleep, fixed my body
just 3 months ago, i was ready to start the grueling process of trying to get ssi disability. i had so much pain, i could barely sit in a chair. i couldn't drive a stick shift car.
but thanks to du, specifically warpy, i finally got an accurate dx of fibromyalgia. docs just gave me some pills, but did not tell me that sleep can be a part of the problem. in fact, some people consider it a sleep disorder, period. i needed to do several things to fix my sleep besides just take the pills, but it was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. over a period of several weeks, the stiffness and pain just sort of leaked out of my body. instead of looking at the clock in the morning, and thinking 'oh, god, i can't get up' now i think 'ok time to get up. i wonder if i can squeeze in a bike ride today'
out of nowhere, health has snuck into my body.
tomorrow is my 51st b-day. on my 50th, i spent the day fighting back tears, as i thought life was over. for my 51st, i was told i had to get myself a good bike, and stop borrowing my problem kid's bike. i found myself a great little old huffy at a used bike place for $35, so i am going to spend the rest of the budget on champagne.

5. Happy Birthday!
And happy cycling! You'll have to join us over in the Bicycling Group and share your experiences.

So glad to hear that you have your health back! :hi:
