bit of birding in a local park
saw 2 male scarlet tanagers and 1 female, I think, although it looked more like a summer tanager to me, but she was right where the male was with some bugs for nestlings, I think. I couldn't really see where the nest was since I was up on a big platform..

2 indigo buntings (one just after a woman had told me she had never seen one there!)

winter wren scrambling around

cowbird singing up on a cupola at the nature center


and the usual cardinals and robins...
