2 great Clapton vids
1. Clapton - Change the World - live 2001

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRvh2mdEv5k&mode=related&search=

He's doing really his stuff, live in Brazil in 2001 (had a little weight on)...gawd, I love him!

2. Clapton: Groaning The Blues

http://youtube.com/watch?v=WxTWQD91b5c

This brought tears to my eyes. What a performance! (Eric is not usually this animated.)

Viewer comment: Eric gives us a fine version of this Otis Rush classic from an abandoned documentary 'Nothin' But The Blues' by Martin Scorsese.

Btw, I had the pleasure of seeing Clapton, Robert Cray, and band Oct. 12th. Damn! Were they all GREAT!

1. Derek Trucks Eric Clapton Lead Guitar BLUES
If you like blues, you'll have to listen to this! Recorded at Eric Clapton's first U.S stop of his tour- in St.Paul, Minnesota-September 16, 2006:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Cw4iUmE5mCs

In 2003, Derek Trucks was the youngest guitarist on Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All-Time, and has been hailed as one of the greatest slide guitarists since Duane Allman.

Trucks' guitar playing is unusual in a number of respects. He steadfastly avoids processing and effects, preferring to get the purest tone possible by connecting his guitar directly to his amplifier, a 1964 Fender Super Reverb. He modifies his tone with the controls on the guitar. He plays without the use of a plectrum (pick), using his fingers instead, plucking primarily with the thumb, index and middle fingers, but also using the ring finger on occasion.
