Pink Floyd: The Final Cut
For those who didn't know, they actually made some odd video footage for a great deal of the album.

It's available here.

One fascinating extra clip is "When the Tigers Broke Free." This was apparently supposed to be on the album, but was left off. It's on the latest reissue, which I know must go buy, making our total copies 4 (don't ask).

I remember seeing the 45 in a record store way back when (you younger kids, bear with me here). The back of the sleeve said that it was from the upcoming album "The Final Cut". I didn't buy it, since I figured it would be out soon on LP. Nonetheless, the album is fantastic, and highly underrated, though a bit slick and heavy on the Roger Waters influences. It's also the most political album they've ever done, and takes some nasty swipes at Thatcher and Reagan.

The album came out about a year later, and no "When Tigers Broke Free" on it. In the album's recent reissue (2004), the song was added.

3. If you're into Pink Floyd
check out the bluegrass version of The Wall by Luther Wright and the Wrongs - Canadian group. It's an accurate a duplicate of the complate oriignal.

Also check out the reggae version of Dark Side of the Moon called Dub Side of the Moon. Totally wicked.
