Has anyone here, who is a fan of the show, seen the Avatar movie yet?
I have only heard bad things, but I have not seen it for myself yet.

4. Took the wife and the kids to see it
I loved it....very close to the cartoon (which I own on DVD)...it does seem a bit truncated...but that is to be expected...everyone was in character...can't wait for part II!

I was expecting an extremely very much truncated version...it was only at the end that I realized this was meant to be a trilogy!

The effects were excellent...

The original series was in 3 parts (Book of Water, Earth and Fire).
