Does anyone collect old public domain cartoons?
I've been picking them up at discount retailers (Fred's Pharmacy, Dollar Tree, Target, Wal Mart, Party City) and have found some real gems. One company puts out old Max Fleischer "Superman" shorts that were made by Paramount. Others have a wide variety of Famous Studios, Noveltoons, and others.

1. Its better to buy the re-released collections
for example the public domain Superman collections are of very poor quality, you can get a beautiful, full set by buying the authentic Fleisher Superman DVD.

Really, how many copies of "Do You Have Any Castles" does one collector need?
