my mom's painting
My mom painted this picture of my sister in oils years ago.I just got it into photoshop and cleaned it up(there is a smudge of crud on the original painting..I took out and I got rid of glare and made the contrast better than the cheesy photo of it that I has scanned it from)
Mom is reluctant to pick up the brush again she says she wants to however...Mom doesen't think she's that good. I tell her she is.What do you all think?

does she paint for herself or for others?
Once I realized I was going to always paint, that is, paint for myself I stopped being concerned with being 'good'. That is a subjective opinion.
Tell Mom to get back into it and enjoy!
