6. Thanks for sharing these.
I love the intesity in the eyes of your second subject. Do you enjoy still life subjects as well, or tend to stick with people?

I keep telling myself I'll get back into the habit of sketching, then I find myself back gluing up my collages!

7. i do prefer people...
but i love to do people interacting with "things"...horses...fruit...mountains...draped objects...etc...unfortunately if i want to scan my sketches they need to be relatively small...and if i want to include whole scenarios...i need more space...

i also ran out of art supply...so i am waiting for payday to go pick up some more conte crayon and some prisma color pencils...or at least shop a little for appropriate media...any suggestions?

8. That's cool...
I usually stick with inanimate objects, although I've done a floral here and there. My sketches run small as well - it took a teacher to tell me to go large! I have an 8X10 sketchbook that still isn't filled, mostly in pencil but there's a couple in ink. Heck, I've even used my kid's crayons...

My favorite pencil are the woodless ones, they're just solid pencil lead - I've noticed them in more art supply sections in the craft stores lately. But, any pencil worked for me really...most of what I did, years and years ago, was in pencil/colored pencil. My experience with conte wasn't long enough and I think my husband used up the sticks I had...

I should post back with a couple of my "vintage" sketches. lol!
