Soft pastel hummingbird 99% done and 2 bison fighting is in progress.

Had a suggestion to soften the hummer's tail that's why the 99% done :rofl: Good suggestion it is too now that I look at it.

Painting the bison fighting idea was from just doing a simple search for animal photos and this one just grabbed my eye. Too bad the resolution of the photo is low but I'll make do. Definitely work in progress with some challenges.

Both are done on industrial sandpaper that I found at a discount store. I used rubbing alcohol to do the underpaintings on both and a mixture of of hard, soft pastels and pastel pencils.

3. Bison's nearly finished except for one or two spots

under their bellies through the horizon line. Haven't decided to keep it light or tone it down but the animals themselves are finished. Also to touch up the general background to soften it up.
