1. The skin's pretty amazing. Good work.
It almost makes the baby doll look real, though, which would be a little creepy (I've got a doll thing). I'm not sure if it was intentional, but it looks like the pattern of the pillow follows the ridges of the girl's face from one side to the other - your eyes are drawn to her no matter where you start. I'm still most impressed with the skin, though, having never been able to paint it realistically myself.

2. Thanks.
I tried to make the baby doll look shinier than the girl. Maybe I should have done more. I don't remember much about the pattern of the pillow, I was working from a photo and just tried to make it look as true to life as I could.

3. That was just my first impression of the picture of it.
It may look differently in person, or in different lighting. Or I may just be totally wrong. ;)

The pattern I'm talking about comes down into the ridge over her right eye, down her nose, then off the left cheek bone. It's wild to think that you didn't do it intentionally, or that it already existed in the photo you worked from. I get excited about weird technical things like that.

Sorry, I get caught up everywhere, and I thought this thread was done.
