2. Whew squared
Agreed :)

I'm working on resizing my photo. I can't respond to any pm's at the moment. My technology won't allow it.

Thank you.

7. My entry is locked up in a computer that has an exploded battery
It may take a few days to fix it. Here is one I'm not using - I may post it over in the submission line to hold my spot - and that will hopefully make you smile.

It's called Foxxy

and I took it at a very rural tea party meeting where Virginia Foxx was the main event.

You might have to be stoned to fully appreciate this introduction to Patty Cake.

Not as thrilled with it as a hands pic but like the shot otherwise.

18. Participating is as important as winning.
A couple hours after posting mine, I took a picture that is well beyond what I posted. So it goes.

As far as I'm concerned, it is enough to be challenged.

19. You can switch it out
I took some pics yesterday and am going through them. I took about 20 of the same thing from different angles and different exposures. We'll see.

22. There is also value in sequential shooting when doing street photography.
I learned my lesson about taking just one shot of a valued subject. I will probably have to learn that lesson over and over again.

24. Thanks Mira!
I was participating in a studio shoot and two of the models flaked. This was the makeup artist (and part time model). I asked her to spread her fingers out, as I liked the appearance of a pattern.

25. I've already commented on Stevenmarc's entry, but I want
to have you look at his composition. It is effective use of the Rule of Thirds. Also look at the text in the image. It enhances the story, it's kind of like text illustration.

This is street photography at it's best. It tells a human story.

29. you don't need to steal it, do it yourself!!
What software do you use? Thanks to RichardD, I got Photo Director when it was free, but for fun I tried to see what I could do with your photo in IrfanView, which is still free. In that software, it took but two seconds to open the image, go to Image>Color Corrections, and then increase brightness and contrast. With other software, more could be done, but this was no $$$ and very simple. BTW, I love this entry for hands. The stigmata, etc. stuff is extremely interesting to me, and it makes me think of that.

I happen to love it when people give me different ways to interpret my image, so kudos to RichardD!!

it is amazing the memories a good photo can evoke... "sculpting hands" takes me back to when my kids were young and were forever doing things like that to me :)

To me, the greatest compliment for a photo is that inspired an emotion. I'm so glad this one did so for you. :)
