Fall and already Fallen - Heads up for the "Fall" contest to come
At the very beginning of November I plan to start submissions for the "Autumn" seasonal contest, and run them about a week. I'm reminding every one, and telling the newer participants that it will run and be over with hopefully by the time the November contest theme is decided.
So, this is a month long heads up, and Happy Shooting.

What you're looking at is a tree that fell overnight unexpectedly in my neighbor's yard, and yes, it did hit my fence.
The aging coleus was nicely lit on my way back from surveying the damage.
Damn!
Must there always be something there to cheer me up?
(Attitude is everything :))

1. Thanks for the warning...
I'll be driving from Ohio to Virginia next Friday afternoon. There's sure to be some nice shots...if it ever stops freakin' raining here!!

Too bad about your neighbor's tree.

2. Great -
I hope you have a leisurely and safe drive. It should be starting to turn in those areas.
Visually Virginia is God's Country.

4. Me too!
I think it possibly could not have reached the house. But it was only half the tree. The other half is even taller, and has lost half its supporting rootball - so I worry.
