Remember the contest "People at Work"?
If we had another one I might consider this photo, that's how things look at my house today.

(My new bathroom to be, bathtub removed and gutted --will post a photo of it when it's all done :))

It was my honor (or horror) to host. Nearly had a nervous breakdown when DU went down in the middle of my posting the prelim round and I thought it was my fault.

There were lots of memorable shots in that one. And someone in GD complained there weren't enough women in the photos.

Good times. Good times.

2. Yes I remember that contest!!
One thing I remember about it is that you submitted a photo of a woman at a sewing machine. She had some sort of religious headgear on (Muslim?) and had light shining over her shoulder. It was a nice photo.

There were tons of other good photos in that contest. There was a female cop on a horse in New York. There were several women working in a cotton processing plant in my photo.

But, oh, did we get in trouble by someone for only having one woman represented in the photos :wtf: She didn't bother to look at the photos, obviously.

We also got in trouble because there was a butcher with a goat hanging on a hook!!

I only somewhat sympathized with the latter (who said she was vegan and we should have a vegan warning on the thread) and none at all with the supposed feminist.

I'm not sure we have had any issues with photos submitted since then. I was a bit angry over it.

As for your photo, I love it! I think it is great that you are getting a new bathroom, too. I hope it has a fancy big new soaker tub for you. The colors in this are great, especially the blue.

including your photo.
I won't tell about my bath til I post a photo of it finished.
It might surprise you.
I like how there is light shining in the basement (my work shop), i.e. the blue. It's light reflected on the heat ducts.

4. Looks like things are moving
along. I see my future in that photo.:scared: Though only a crawl space under the bathroom that needs done and not replacing the tub/shower.

I already have a walk in shower and would suggest anyone that can have one. It was the only safe way for me to get a real shower while both feet were broken. I could use a bath chair to sit on and keep the foot I could not get wet for a few weeks out of the water safely. My mom now has a walk in shower that really helps with her arthritis in her knees. It was getting painful/dangerous for her to step over the side of the tub in a tub-shower combo.
