A few I'm tossing around for "Fall" (dialup clunker)
Not sure I'll enter any of these, but thought I'd just throw out a few that remain in my "hmmmmm....maybe" folder. Get the spirit of "Fall" movin'.....

The Transformation

An Autumn Bike Ride

Time vs. Reality (digitized film shot) Cut off left edge. Stood on damn chair.. should have used a ladder.

Gloomy-Rainy Fall Day (digitized film shot)

Surrounded by Color

All fairly cliche' but I still have a week or so to come up with something a little "different"

1. Cliché or not, Transformation and Surrounded are simply beautiful
I particularly like "Surrounded", especially the three different textured buildings and sizes. I'm a sucker for a triptych-kinda-thing. Plus, the three major trees in the frame.

The more I type, the more I'm lovin' that one. :)

Transformation & Surrounded taken same day, same lens, same filter, same camera setup. It was the 1st Meeting of the Colorado Snappy Group. You should have been there. I was there, of course me, and then I was there. "we" had a great time.

Edit? Edit: Edit- and Edit!!

2. Beautiful ,.
Surrounded would be a winner , and rightly so as it is beautiful. I also really like Time vs Reality with the cut off edge. They would be my top two picks with Transformation right up there.

Now a special request to all CO photographers, I know it is cliche' and all but while out shooting could one of you grab a shot of Aspens? Not so much for the contest but maybe I could show it to my one lonely, not so little, smuggled and trans planted Aspen in the back yard so it would know what its leaves are suppose to look like in the fall? Though I guess I shouldn't complain since it did live. And I did get two more smuggled out to the east coast to plant near it.

4. Aspens all go bye-bye
Mountain Aspens came and went some time ago. The ones in town got nailed recently by a "Colorado Tropical Storm". 60-70 mile an hour winds. I have one in the backyard with a dozen or so leaves still hangin' on. I could go shoot a macro of just one leaf.

Thanks for the kind words on my "Fall" stuff. I won't enter any of these. Just wanted to throw a few out that I've come up with, share a few snaparinis. Have a version of "Transformation" with the blue sky as the background. My "Don't Leave the Trail #1" snap.. other stuff.

When you said "would be a winner" you scared me off.
:scared: ;-)

5. Guess I'll have to request the tree
lessons earlier next year.
That word winning photo is a scary thing isn't it. Can't wait to see more of your fall photos.

9. As a fall shot, I like Surrounded. But
as a photo I'd like to have in my home, I like Time vs. Reality. I like the simplicity of form, and even like that the circle is cut off. :)

12. I love the Funky Pumpkins!
It's almost 3-D! Those flowers are just jumping out of the shot. The colors you changed with the regular background make for a very surreal scene.

The Pumpkin Patch could be your unity entry. :P

13. Very beautiful
The one of that plate really stands out in this collection. Is it a painting of a plate, or a real plate? Intriguing shot ;-)

The last one is also very nice, great colors and with deep dimensions because of the hillside in the background. I'd have liked to sit on the porch of that house with a coffee in the morning and seeped up the scenario, lol :-)
