1. First one looks like a painting
If you are into printing/framing/hanging on wall I'd definitely consider doing that with #1. You made good use of the light in #3 and #4 - highlighting the focal points with existing light. Contrasted by the surroundings. Nice.

Off to listen to some tunes on my EYEpud then it's nighty night for me. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a nice day with your camera. I spent the day taking a few pics but haven't even had time to look at them yet. I'm sooooo far behind on processing my photos - been spending most of my time scanning negatives. I better stop there. I'll start sounding even more incoherent than normal. I don't want to wake up tomorrow and re-read this and ask myself - "what the hell was I thinking?" My "Zombie Sedative Med" is kicking in.
:silly:

Again; print that first one. It's a keeper. And say 'hi!' to the froggies for me. Green on Green.
:hi:

2. Thank you postatomic
:hi:

I like the first one myself very much .... you gave me an idea ... I will put it on as my background on my computer. Maybe not exactly like a print but it is a start.

And don't worry, you sound completely sane in your post :D

:hi:

3. Wonderful work Miss Honeychurch. Your first one is very reminiscent of
Claude Monet's paintings of his gardens and waterlilies. Dreamy. That photo is a true keeper. I am enjoying the German Springtime with you, and the frogs. I very much like the light on the lavender - surely not lilac bushes that large?

4. Thank you Mira
every now and then I get a lucky shot too :D

The frogs were just :wow: There were so many there. I've never seen so many frogs at one spot. You can imagine the cacophony.

The colorful bushes are all rhododendrons

5. I see it now about the rhododendrons. I was groggy from waking up and
blinded by the beauty of your first shot.
Thanks.
